Consolidation in the Mexican nuclear industry and diversification of services in Laguna Verde

This year, Grupo Dominguis has consolidated its position at the Laguna Verde Nuclear Power Plant (CLV) in Mexico, through its subsidiary, Hervi. As well as renewing the decontamination contract with CLV, Hervi continues to carry out a range of tasks, including providing maintenance of motorized valves, support services for turbines and changing activated carbon in the off-gas system. It has also started to offer its services to the Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) and other companies.

In September, CLV once again awarded Hervi, a member of the Grupo Dominguis, the contract for decontamination of its facilities.

Another project that was recently completed in this power station was the change of activated carbon for off-gas in two of the reactors.  This is the first operation of its kind to be conducted in this Mexican power plant since it was opened 17 years ago. And the results were successful, as the third part of the programme Schedule has been completed, “thanks to some very efficient teams and procedures”, explained the Director of Services for Latin America, Marceliano Curiel.

Also at Laguna Verde, Hervi is responsible for maintenance work on motorized valves and support services for turbine maintenance.
