GDES once again attends the WNE. The largest nuclear fair in Europe

The fourth edition of World Nuclear Exhibition, the world’s leading event for the nuclear energy sector, was attended by more than 600 exhibitors representing the most important companies in the global nuclear industry value chain. This year, the WNE focused its programme on the role to be played by the nuclear industry in a decarbonised society, recognising its contribution to the energy transition and action to combat climate change. Climate action is SDG 13 of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Held at Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, this event has established itself as a benchmark for the nuclear industry, not only in Europe but also internationally, as reflected in the figures: 18,000 congress attendees from 83 countries, industry representatives from Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and America, and more than 4,000 business meetings in an exhibition space of 25,350 m².

With the aim of boosting and strengthening its business abroad and showcasing to the international market the capabilities and cutting-edge technology of the services offered by GD Energy Services, representatives of the different divisions of the Nuclear Services, Surface Treatment, Decommissioning and Innovation Business Unit of GDES attended the event together with the Group’s CEO Héctor Dominguis and Dominique Mouillot, Vice-President of the Group in France.

The most outstanding GDES projects in France, our new passive fire protection solutions, and the latest technologies developed by GDES Innovation (DRUMCAR, VIGIA, RESHAND and DEMOS) were displayed at the GD Energy Services stand this year.

The participation of GDES at the WNE was a great opportunity to showcase the products and services that we offer internationally and thus strengthen existing commercial relationships and seek out new business opportunities.

At GDES we are proud to actively participate in events like this, which enhance dialogue and twinning within the sector, alongside other national and international companies and organisations, while facilitating both business development and commercial activity in the nuclear industry.
