GDES Wind grows its presence in France, which aims to be the fourth largest producer of offshore wind energy in Europe by 2030

By 2028, the European Union’s second largest economy aims to double its installed renewable electricity capacity to 113 GW, reaffirming its commitment to an emissions-free energy mix based on nuclear and renewable power.

France is the world’s sixth largest economy and its focus on increasing electricity production with a more diversified energy mix will make it the fourth largest producer of offshore wind power in Europe by 2030.

This makes France a strategic market for GDES Wind, which aims to grow its presence and meet the demands of its customers by setting up a company in France with local workers.

As part of its internationalisation plan, GDES Wind has started to develop services for different customers in various regions of France. Of particular significance is the work being carried out from its new headquarters in Bollène.
