At the 37th Spanish Nuclear Society (SNE) Congress, that took place between September 28-30 in Burgos, the president of Grupo Dominguis, Jose Dominguis Renard, was awarded with the “Medal of the Spanish Nuclear Society”, the highest honour given to people or institutions as recognition of their work towards the development of nuclear energy and for their contribution towards the overall objectives of the SNE.

At the award ceremony, Jose Dominguis Renard affirmed that he felt happy and slightly overwhelmed by the recognition.

Furthermore, this year the awarded was extra special as it was the first time it had been given to a collaborating company in the sector.

The president of the Valencian firm felt he should share the prize with the rest of the companies that collaborate in maintaining the nuclear industry, conveying that he himself represents all the companies in the sector. In addition, he shared the medal with all the Grupo Dominguis personnel: “All of them have made it possible for us to be here today, and they help us feel optimistic when we look towards the future”.

Also during his emotional speech he thanked the nuclear sector for the opportunities to collaborate and grow with it that it has given, and continues to give him, both on a personal level and as a company: “The experience in the Spanish nuclear sector has allowed us to compete in the international market, and also apply this experience to new sectors and markets”.
