GDES collaborates with ITER on Safety Day

ITER, the world’s largest fusion project, held its Safety Day on 15 September as part of a drive to actively engage all workers and collaborators at its facilities. Safety is a central priority at ITER, so IO (ITER Organization) organised a full programme of interactive workshops, simulators, discussions and demonstrations to inform about key procedures at its facilities and to raise awareness among its participants.

This year activities covered a wide range of topics such as falls from different levels, a lifting platform simulator, a vehicle head-on collision simulator, the correct use of PPE, etc.

In this edition GDES Revanti went one step further in its participation, preparing specific activities to raise awareness of the consequences and risks of drug and alcohol consumption in the workplace. This original activity was a great success among the attendees and helped to promote and raise the profile of our firm on this key day for safety.
