GDES and ITER make sure that Safety Comes First

ITER, the world’s largest fusion project, held a Safety Day on 16 September as part of a drive to actively engage all workers and collaborators at its facilities. Safety is a central priority at ITER, and so its QHSE division organised a full programme of hands-on workshops, discussions and demonstrations to provide information on key procedures at the site and to raise awareness among participants. The event focused on three risks that are always a part of our operations: falling from height, falling objects, and system and process risks.
