The fourth edition of World Nuclear Exhibition, the world’s leading event for the nuclear energy sector, was attended by more than 600 exhibitors representing the most important companies in the global nuclear industry value chain. This year, the WNE focused its programme on the role to be played by the nuclear industry in a decarbonised society, recognising its contribution to the energy transition and action to combat climate change. Climate action is SDG 13 of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Thanks to the joint efforts of GDES Wind and GDES Revanti, we have been awarded a contract for a painting and coating service for the wind energy sector. Specifically, as partners of the crane truck and lifting platform company Transgruma, GDES has been commissioned by Acciona for coating repairs and painting of the wind turbine towers (40-45 m high).
