Inauguration of the new headquarters of GDES Spain

GD Energy Services moves its headquarters to the Valencia Technology Park

GD Energy Services (GDES) has moved its headquarters to a new location, combining the Group’s industrial facilities in Spain, its head offices and its Innovation and Technological Development Centre.

The new headquarters of the Valencia-based GDES Group are located in the Valencia Technology Park and occupy a total area of 8,000 m2. 6,500 m2 will be dedicated to industrial activities (3,000 m2 covered warehouses and 3,500 m2 open yard facilities). 1,200 m2 will be dedicated to offices and R&D, (distributed over 2 floors), and 400 m2 to exhibiting the latest technological developments.

This change has been made with the aim of unifying the Group’s main activities in the region of Valencia, promoting synergies, cooperation and a commitment to innovation.

The 83 employees that currently make up the staff at the new GDES headquarters, together with members of the Group’s Board of Directors and the Falck SCI team, attended the official inauguration of their new facilities on 20 September.

“Bigger, more operational and, above all, more united” were the elements highlighted by GDES CEO, Héctor Dominguis, in his inaugural speech. The new GDES headquarters, dedicated to corporate services and to the maintenance and logistics of the equipment used at work sites, is the largest in the history of the Valencian group. The change of location, the fifth since the company was founded in 1932, responds to the need to consolidate as a sustainable and modern company, achieving maximum efficiency and coordination between operational and corporate areas.
