A delegation from the Nuclear Safety Council visits the teleteaching area of Polytechnic University

The CSN staff visited the teleteaching area from where the Polytechnic University of Valencia and Titania deliver the Master Course on Radiological Protection at the Nuclear and Radioactive Facilities.

The delegation, made up of the counsellors Rosario Velasco and Fernando Castelló and their technical advisors Diego Encinas and María Fernanda Sánchez, along with the Head of Core Engineering, Fernando Pelayo, was accompanied by the Managing Director of the Grupo Dominguis, Héctor Dominguis, and the Director of Titania, Adoración Arnaldos, and was able to gain insight into the most relevant R&D projects that are being undertaken by the group companies in the nuclear and radiological protection area.

Also dealt with were the possibilities for collaboration in both training and the group’s future international projects, especially in Latin America.

The visit concluded on December 13th with the two CSN counsellors and the Council’s Sub-Directorate for Emergencies, led by Ramón de la Vega, attending the official inauguration of the Dominguis Group Innovation Centre at the Polytechnic City for Innovation complex.
