This new professional council will improve your competitiveness through strategic improvements in processes, technological leaps and development of new services.

The service expansion and optimization that Grupo Dominguis offers to its clients requires an added value to allow work techniques to adapt to your needs through further technology development. The Technology Development Unit led by its Technology Development Director, Jesús Lacalle, works in this direction considering different business opportunities and analyzing the possibility of innovative technological solutions.

The functions of this new Unit include: identification and analysis of opportunities for technological innovation based on the client’s needs; analysis of the environment or development of new processes or business areas; recommendation and analysis of possible solutions to technological problems; assessment of opportunities for technology integration at a technical level (foreign acquisition or internal development); identification of points of improvement between the company’s services and the client’s needs; and recommendation of new partners, clients, experts…

Four projects have been developed so far, which are already operational: the automated system for regeneration of pipe inner surfaces using arc spray (Robot Tirant 3 ); the thermal fluid treatment in solar thermal power plants (Caloroil system); the vehicle that automatically clean the parabolic cylinder collectors of solar thermal power plants (Valent system); and the study about the safety of mechanical cleaning of solar thermal collectors after 20 years of operation. Additionally, there are another 20 projects that are under study and development.
