To ensure optimal performance of the CSP facilities, Laitu Solar has developed two innovative systems, Contenoil and Caloroil. That maximize the lifecycle of assets and minimize any corrective requirement action in CSP plants, this directly affects cost effectiveness.

Both technologies, which have been patented worldwide, arise from the need to improve plant maintenance processes. In addition, they have been tested and verified in CSP facilities with excellent results.

Contenoil is a unique system existing in the market that is capable of handling a CSP drain-back system with no risk.

It offers an innovative solution that allows for extraction, transportation, storage and injection of HTF (heat transfer fluid) at any point of the CSP plant without using nitrogen for blanketing and guaranteeing satisfactory results for maintenance of up to two loops at a time.

On the other hand, the Caloroil system allows treatment and filtration of HTF in the CSP plants to ensure higher quality without having to stop production. This translates into increased energy production and bankability, as well as a substantial decrease of corrective maintenance of any critical component at the plant.
