Grupo Dominguis and the Danish firm Falck, with activity in 32 countries across five continents, have begun their
campaign in health service transportation in Spain, acquiring a 75% share of the company VL Transporte Sanitario (Grupo Vicente Lázaro), leader in this sector in Catalonia.
With this alliance both firms will achieve greater national coverage along with an improved position in the health service transport sector in Spain.

The new company, Falck VL, is led by Sergi Vicente, and Vicenç Vicente Lázaro will be the president. Both of them are family part of the group of companies Grupo VL , that keeps a 25% share of the business.

This new strategic alliance with Grupo VL will allow Grupo Dominguis and Falck to penetrate the Catalan health service transportation sector, followed by implantation throughout Spain. On the other hand, Grupo VL that has only operated in Catalonia up to now, will increase its coverage in Spain.

The strategic alliance with Grupo Dominguis and Falck will only affect one of Grupo VL’s business areas: its health service transportation, that achieved a turnover of 12 million euros in 2011 and currently has 200 staff in its workforce.
