GDES receives the Banco Sabadell Company of the Year Award 2024

Our business group has been recognised, tonight in the city of Valencia, at the Banco Sabadell and Prensa Ibérica Comunidad Valencia awards with the highest recognition of 2024. Along with GDES, 7 other companies, benchmarks in our region, have been awarded in different categories for their social

In addition to GDES (Grupo Dominguis Energy Services), the winners from Banco Sadadell and Prensa Ibérica – publisher of Levante EMV, Información and Mediterráneo – are Grupo Dacsa, SP-Berner, PLD Space, Stadler Railway Valencia, Consum, Evolving Therapeutics and Jesús Navarro, Managing Director of Carmencita.

The Managing Director of Prensa Ibérica, Aitor Moll, and the Deputy Managing Director and Eastern Territorial Director of Banco Sabadell, Fernando Canós, stressed that the aim of these awards is to recognise the importance of companies that ‘offer opportunities to the societies’ in which they are based. Banco Sabadell’s Deputy Managing Director and Regional Director for the East of Spain stressed that the awards were recognition of the commitment of Valencian companies. ‘We want to highlight the collective effort and spirit of innovation that characterise our region’, said Fernando Canós, recognising the power of the business fabric as a “driver of change and key agent in building a better future”.

Rewarded for our commitment to the energy transition

The award has been granted to us in recognition of GDES’s commitment to the energy transition. A commitment that, in the words of Héctor Dominguis, is firm, not only because we actively participate in the operation and maintenance of the energy sources that contribute most to the reduction of CO2 emissions (nuclear, wind farms and photovoltaic installations), but also because of what the new purpose of the company means to us, ‘as a family business we want to bequeath to future generations an environmentally, socially and economically better planet. Contributing to decarbonisation, energy efficiency, process optimisation and the circular economy through engineering, digitalisation, talent and innovation in the provision of services for industry’.

For her part, the delegate of the Government in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, closed the ceremony by highlighting the work of all the award-winning companies, including GDES, and highlighted the ‘drive’ of the Valencian business fabric.
