GDES Wind increases its presence in Brazil, a country with a wind energy potential in excess of 300GW

As part of its internationalisation plan, GDES Wind has begun to develop services with different clients in different regions of Brazil. Especially significant are the works that have been carried out for several months now in the State of Pernambuco.

Brazil’s wind energy potential exceeds 300 GW. The power currently installed amounts to 7.2 MW, distributed among 307 wind parks. With a growth of between 1,500 and 2,00 MW per year (the third country in the world after China and the USA), a level of 14,426 MW is expected to be reached in 2018.

All of this makes Brazil a strategic market for GDES Wind, whose aim is to increase its presence and attend to the demand of its clients through the constitution of a company in Brazil with local partners.
