Lainsa is awarded a contract for Internal Logistics at the main Production Centre of Acerinox Europa

The multinational Acerinox group, whose headquarters is in Spain, has commissioned the subsidiary of the Dominguis Group to take charge of materials movement and transport services at its Campo de Gibraltar production centre.

The Lainsa Logistics division will be responsible for all the processes relating to internal logistics at the Campo de Gibraltar factory, such as the movement of scrap, ferroalloys, ore-flux, slag, bricks and other steelyard products and the transport of steelyard hot-rolling and cold-rolling materials.

In order to undertake this work in the most effective manner, Lainsa has put in place a team of 19 highly qualified professionals and has made important investments in state-of-the-art machinery.

The Acerinox Group’s Campo de Gibraltar factory is the first stainless steel plant in the world to exceed a production of one million tons per year.
