Lainsa, a company in the Grupo Dominguis working in the nuclear energy industry, has been awarded the contract for providing cleaning services, industrial decontamination, refuelling of reactors, maintenance of auxiliary equipment and recharging activities at the Cofrentes nuclear power plant.

Of the various companies bidding, Iberdrola decided to once again place its trust in Lainsa, in recognition of the company’s technical abilities and capacity for innovation, according to the Director of Nuclear Services, Antonio Martínez.

Over the next four years, a specialist technical team from Lainsa will carry out the work, which involves conservation, industrial cleaning, decontamination and refuelling reactors to extremely high standards of quality and safety, meeting all the legal and Cofrente’s own requirements.

Lainsa’s presence at Spanish nuclear power plants is proof of its leadership in this sector.
