GDES receives the Prever Award 2025 in the Companies and Institutions category
At GDES, we have been honoured with the Prever Award 2025 in the Companies and Institutions category, granted by the General Council of Industrial Relations and Labour Sciences of Spain, in collaboration with the Directorates-General for Labour and Occupational Risk Prevention of the different Autonomous Communities, and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.
This award recognises the track record and commitment of organizations that excel in the field of Occupational Risk Prevention.
For GDES, this recognition holds particular significance, as it reflects the ongoing evolution of our efforts in continuous improvement and prevention: in 2009, we received the Honourable Mention of these same awards and, 16 years later, we have once again been distinguished—this time with the Prever Award.
The award was accepted by Julián Mendoza, Director of Quality, Safety and CSR (QHSE/CSR), and María José Mira, Director of Strategic Projects, during the ceremony held in Puertollano last Saturday, 14 March.
This recognition strengthens our commitment to safety, health, and continuous improvement across all our activities. And, as María José Mira, Director of Strategic Projects, highlighted after receiving the award: ‘This award is not just a distinction; it is the confirmation that the path we choose every day —that of prevention, safety, and the genuine care for people— is truly worthwhile. It reflects the effort of all the individuals who work safely every day, taking care of themselves and of their colleagues. My thanks to the Health & Safety team for taking care of us and for demonstrating that excellence is compatible with humanity. This award is yours.’
