Business Development Director U.N. Efficiency and Photovoltaic

Fernando Giner, Industrial Technical Engineer with specialisation in Mechanics and Electronics, has more than 20 years of experience as Business and Business Development Director for the industrial sector, especially in the field of energy and renewables. Fernando is since 2024 Business Development Director of the Self-consumption and Energy Efficiency area in the team led by Enrique Aymerich, Director of the Efficiency and Photovoltaic Business Unit.

Director of Business Development – Utility Scale 

Álvaro Estellés, Industrial Technical Engineer with specialisation in Mechanics, has more than 10 years of experience as Business Development Manager in the energy sector. Within the Energy Efficiency and Photovoltaic Business Unit of GDES, he manages as an expert the development of Utility Scale solutions under the GDES Matosca firm.

Salvador Pineda

Operations Director – Surface Treatment

Salvador Pineda holds a degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Chemistry, and an MBA from Peaks Business School. He has been part of our Group since 2002, when he joined GDES’s Technical Radiological Protection Unit, then known as Lainsa.

Throughout his career within the company, he has been a member of the Decommissioning, Operations and Maintenance, and Surface Treatment teams, taking part in major national and international projects.

These include metallization services at the Laguna Verde Nuclear Power Plant (Mexico) and at several French nuclear power plants; waste management and decommissioning projects at JRC Ispra and CISAM (Italy); as well as the qualification of the application system developed for the Extrados project (France).

Recently, he assumed the position of Operations Director of the Surface Treatment Business Unit, where he will continue to drive the development and operational excellence of this strategic area for the Group, while taking responsibility for the unit’s activities in Spain.

Patrice Guerra

Patrice GUERRA studied engineering at INSA – Toulouse, specialising in process engineering.

Patrice has been working for GD Energy Services since 2006 when he joined the French chemical cleaning subsidiary SOLARCA France as a Project Engineer. In 2007, he joined LAINSA France when it was created and took the position of Technical Manager of the French subsidiary specialising in nuclear services. Within LAINSA France and then GDES France, he participated in the development of all the Maintenance and Surface Treatment activities as Director of the Coatings and Maintenance Services BUs, participating actively in the EXTRADOS project that GDES France won in 2015. In 2020, he was appointed Director of Development for GDES France and in 2022, he was appointed Director of Surface Treatment in France (GDES Revanti SAS).

Oihana Mendizabal Aguete

Director of Digital Transformation and Business 4.0

Oihana holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Tecnun, the School of Engineering of San Sebastián, University of Navarra.

Her passion for industrial organization led her to work as a consultant during the early years of her professional career, implementing and leading industrial process improvement projects in companies such as EROSKI S.Coop. and FAGOR Arrasate S.Coop.

In 2014, Oihana joined the NEM Solutions team, a technology-based company focused on predictive maintenance solutions for the railway and renewable energy sectors, where she led various international projects.

Since 2025, Oihana has been the Director of the Digital Transformation and Business 4.0.
