Cristina González Garrido

Director of Dismantling Services Area | Spain

Cristina González Garrido holds a degree in Mining and Energy Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid and has extensive experience in nuclear energy projects, supervision of radioactive facilities, and quality control. She joined GDES in January 2025 as Head of Business Development and Special Projects in Radiation Protection and Dismantling, and since June 2025, she has been Director of the Dismantling Services Area in Spain.

Daniel Gómez Fernández

Director of Nuclear Services International

Daniel Gómez is a telecommunications and physics engineer with over 10 years of experience in the energy sector, particularly in the nuclear field. Since 2025, Daniel has been the Director of the International Nuclear Services Business Unit.

Julián Gómez Medinabeitia

A.S. Director of Operation and Maintenance | Spain

Julián, a Technical Engineer in Public Works, is also a Senior Technician in PRL, Safety, Hygiene and Ergonomics, Supervisor of Radioactive Installations and Expert Technician in Radioactive Waste Management and Treatment. He has been a member of GDES since 2015. Since then, he has held the positions of Project Technician, Head of Services and Site Manager.

Since 2022, in addition to being Site Manager at Almaraz NPP, he has been Director of the Operation and Maintenance Service Area for GDES in Spain.

Arturo Pascual Rubio

Thermal Protection S. A. Director | Spain

An Industrial Engineer specialising in energy intensification from the UPV. Radioactive Facilities Supervisor and Executive Master in Business Administration from the APD. He joined GD Energy Services (GDES) in 2005 working on different projects in the nuclear area. In 2009, he participated in the international expansion process of LAINSA as GDES Technical Director in Mexico.

In 2010, he held the position of Project Technical Coordinator attached to Management, and was responsible for the technical coordination of radioactive waste disposal and large low-level radioactive waste component storage at the Cofrentes nuclear power plant for the joint venture TAMLAIN. He currently occupies the position of Thermal Protection Services Area Director in Spain.

Benjamín Mora Bastida

Radiological Protection S.A. Director | Spain

Benjamín Mora Bastida is a Chemical Engineer and holds a master’s degree in radiological protection from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He started working for the Radiological Protection Technical Unit at GDES in 2002 and since then has participated on several projects as radiological protection officer, project officer and R&D engineer, and as a teacher on several radiological protection courses given by GDES, the Polytechnic University of Valencia and CIEMAT. In 2018, he was named Radiological Protection Services Area Director in Spain.
