José Dominguis Renard

Honorary President

José Dominguis Renard, studied Business Studies at the Escuela Profesional de Comercio de Valencia, before joining the family company Pinturas J. Dominguis in 1958. In 1965, he assumed management of the companies. In 1976-77, after the founding of the companies DOMINGUIS, SL and LAINSA, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer. In 2005, following the founding of the Dominguis Group corporate holding company, currently GD Energy Services (GDES), the eight Group companies were merged and he was appointed Honorary President of the Board of Directors.

He has received numerous awards and recognitions in his career: among them, the 2011 Valencian Community Business Executive award from the magazine, Actualidad Económica, and the 2012 Spanish Nuclear Association Medal.

Héctor Dominguis

Héctor Dominguis received a Materials Engineering degree from Imperial College, London with an MSc in Management from Surrey University, a master’s in business administration from ESADE and was part of the Management Development Programme (PDD) at IESE. Prior to GD Energy Services (GDES), Héctor worked as an Assistant to the Commercial Management at Plexi, SA (Röhm Group) and as a Consultant in Estrategia y Dirección, SL.

He joined the GDES group in 2003 as Director of Business Development.  He was appointed General Manager of the Group by the Board of Directors and in May 2012 he was appointed CEO, taking over from Jose Dominguis in the management of the family business.

During the period 2021-23 he held the presidency of the Spanish Nuclear Society (SNE) and is currently a member of the Steering Committee Member of Valencian Association of Entrepreneur, President of LAB Mediterraneo Foundation, Independent Board member at Turbo Energy SA (Nasdaq:TURB).

In 2010, he was awarded the Valencian Community Innovator of the Year award by the newspaper El Mundo and the Valencian Community and Murcia Region Business Executive of the Year Award by Ernst & Young.

Alberto Conde Mellado

Alberto has a PhD in industrial engineering from Tecnun, University of Navarra, and is a national pioneer in the use of data to anticipate the future of machines, having already worked in the field of data analysis and predictive models since 2002. His entrepreneurial spirit has inspired him to start up various projects, all related to data, adding considerable value to the industrial sector. Such is the passion that drives his professional development every day; over the years, he has poured his energies into creating and leading technological projects such as Ikasplay or NEM Solutions (50% owned by CAF and 50% by Siemens Gamesa), and currently as founder and CEO of xabet.

Alberto has gained extensive international experience, has taken postgraduate courses in the field of business management, and was named European Digital Influencer in 2017 in recognition of the first part of his professional career.

In his more than 20 years of professional experience, he has garnered various awards in the field of innovation and technology; he holds several patents and has published a number of articles. He is known for connecting machines and data with people, earning him the nickname “machine doctor”.

He is a champion of the digital age and the possibilities that the continuous transformation of our reality offers for the improvement of our companies, our lives and, above all, the lives of future generations – our children and grandchildren.

José Tomás Ruiz joined LAINSA in 1989, working in Radioactive Installations decontamination and dismantling projects at CIEMAT. In 1991 he participated in R&D&I projects in FUA dismantling in Andújar (Jaén).

From 1992 to 2000, he participated in several projects as Head of RP: BR3 in MOL (Belgium), Acerinox , Los Barrios (Cádiz), Vandellós I Power Plant Dismantling.In 2004-2005, he became Project Director of Dismantling and Clearance of ARBI Reactor (Bilbao).From 2007, he headed the LAINSA international expansion process through his position as Europe & Asia Business Director and participated in the creation of Lainsa subsidiaries in France and Italy through Lainsa France’ companies, Lainsa Italia and Gertisa Italia. In 2015, he was named Chief operating Officer at GD Energy Services S.A.U. Responsible for all the operations in the company GD Energy Services (GDES) and associated subsidiaries and companies. And in 2018, he was named Contry Manager of Spain. In 2020, he assumed the position of Director of  Nuclear Services Business Unit and in 2024 he is appointed global Vice President of our organisation.

A Senior Chemical Engineer specialising in the Environment from Zaragoza University with a Bachelor in Psychology from UNED, a Masters in Quality and Environment Management from IDE.CESEM Business School and a Master Executive MBA from the Instituto de Empresa business school.

He has spent much of his career in the DHL multinational postal and logistics services as Project Manager, Design and Solutions Manager, and Continuous Improvement Manager for national and international customers and projects. Since 2013, he has been part of the GD Energy Services (GDES) team as the Circular Economy B.U. Director.
