GD Energy Services acquires Battaglino Group hydro and industrial services business

– The BATTAGLINO Group, which employs around 60 people and has an annual turnover of around EUR 10 million, has more than 70 years of experience in industrial painting, building painting and asbestos removal.

– Through this acquisition, the Valencia-based GDES group anticipates an annual turnover of EUR 26 million in surface treatment services alone in France.

ITER, the world’s largest fusion project, held its Safety Day on 15 September as part of a drive to actively engage all workers and collaborators at its facilities. Safety is a central priority at ITER, so IO (ITER Organization) organised a full programme of interactive workshops, simulators, discussions and demonstrations to inform about key procedures at its facilities and to raise awareness among its participants.
