GDES secures place as part of the Dounreay Wood Alliance (DWA) on the DSRL decommissioning services framework
GDES has secured a position on the multi-million pound framework to provide decommissioning services to Dounreay Site Restoration Limited.
GDES Limited, the wholly-owned UK subsidiary of GDES Group, has won a place as part of the Dounreay Wood Alliance (DWA) on the multimillion-pound framework contract to provide decommissioning solutions to Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd (DSRL) at Dounreay in Scotland.
The framework contract will run for up to seven years and has an estimated value of £400 million. Six successful bidders have been appointed to the framework, which covers projects to enable decommissioning of the Dounreay site. DWA, with Wood as prime contractor, combines sub-contractors GDES, Orano and Aquila.
