Further to applying technology for inspection in hostile environments in some of its developed equipment, GDES T4S is also the distributor in Spain of specific products manufactured by Cyberia for use in the presence of radiation (nuclear power plants), extreme temperatures (up to 1,500∞C) and high pressure (up to depths of 5,000 metres).
Such products can be either used alone or installed on ROVs and robots, so to reach areas restricted to people. Typical applications are:
- Environmental inspection cameras, spotlights and measurement sensors);
- Data acquisition and real-time transmission (coaxial cables);
- Remote manipulation of objects, decontamination tasks, sampling, etc. (articulated arms and inherent accessories).
