In this context, many companies face the need to reduce their dependence on gas, minimize direct emissions (Scope 1), and adapt to an environment shaped by regulatory pressure and increasing sustainability requirements across the supply chain.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Against this backdrop, an industrial-sector company decided to advance its energy transformation by incorporating renewable heat generation solutions into its production process, in collaboration with GDES and Solatom.<\/p>\n<div>\n<h4><strong>Implemented Solution<\/strong><\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>To address this challenge, GDES and Solatom developed and integrated a renewable heat generation solution based on Fresnel solar thermal technology.\u00a0The project involved the integration and optimization of a thermal oil solar boiler directly into the production process, ensuring its operation within a demanding industrial environment.<\/p>\n<p>From a technical standpoint, the project included the deployment of the solar field on the rooftop, the hydraulic connection between the solar field and the existing system, and the development of a control and monitoring system. On the one hand, Solatom contributes its Fresnel solar thermal technology for the direct generation of industrial heat; on the other, GDES is responsible for industrial integration, execution, safety, certification, and commissioning in complex production environments.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>This combination makes it possible to deliver a comprehensive solution, from design to effective operation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Results and Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>The implementation of this solution enables significant progress in thermal decarbonization:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reduction of direct emissions (Scope 1)<\/li>\n<li>Decreased dependence on gas<\/li>\n<li>Improved ESG positioning with clients and stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Increased energy resilience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, the project demonstrates the viability of using solar heat in real industrial processes.<\/p>\n<div>\n<h3><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Thermal decarbonization is becoming a key factor in industrial competitiveness.
