Safety Culture is one of the strategic pillars of the GDES Group. The efforts made over the past few years have enabled solid progress toward the established goals: zero workplace accidents and the prevention of industrial incidents at our clients\u2019 facilities. Following the consolidation of the RedEr program on safety culture and human factors, GDES decided to continue evolving its approach toward more participatory and positive models.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Within this context, the Safety II program continues to expand across the Group and has now reached the As Pontes (A Coru\u00f1a) work center, where the GDES Wind team took part in February in a new session to define and adopt Safety II Commitments.<\/p>\n

SAFETY II: <\/span><\/b>a positive, human-centered approach focused on what goes right<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"Together with the site personnel, a process was carried out to identify and refine a list of exemplary best practices\u2014behaviors observed daily and essential to ensuring that \u201cthings go well.\u201d This exercise represents explicit recognition of the professional work of our colleagues, highlighting the value of Human Factors as a guarantee of safety and efficiency in our operations.<\/p>\n

Once collected, these best practices are shared with the entire team. This includes field technicians working in the wind parks, who during this period also support the activities in the warehouse.<\/p>\n

From there, the team commits to maintaining these practices, passing them on to new staff members, and reviewing them periodically to ensure they remain valid and useful.<\/p>\n

This methodology represents a shift in mindset by balancing the focus between \u201chuman error\u201d and \u201chuman success,\u201d fostering a constructive and preventive view of Safety.<\/p>\n

The Safety II program continues to expand into more GDES projects and sites in various countries. Its continuity is a clear demonstration of this shared journey and highlights the essential role of our professionals in building a modern, collaborative, and people-centered Safety Culture.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
